How it works

We agree the support before visits begin.

Every arrangement starts with a conversation. There is no obligation to choose a plan before we understand what is working and what is becoming difficult.

01

We listen first

We talk about the current situation, the day-to-day pressure points and who should be involved in decisions or updates.

02

We agree the support

Together, we agree how often visits will happen, what matters most, who may receive updates and exactly what Familiar Care will and will not do.

03

We connect the dots

One familiar coordinator visits, notices the small things, follows up agreed tasks and records what matters.

You stay in control of your information

Only information reasonably needed to provide the service is collected. The person receiving support can change who may receive updates and can ask to see or correct their information.

Plans can change as life changes

Services are month to month. The sensible starting point is the smallest amount of support that makes everyday life easier and gives the right people a clearer picture.
