Support centred on life at home

How it works

We agree the support before visits begin.

01

We listen first

We begin with a conversation about what is working, what is becoming difficult and who should be kept informed.

02

We agree the support

Together we settle on a workable rhythm of visits and clear boundaries around what Familiar Care will handle.

03

We connect the dots

One familiar coordinator notices the small things, follows up agreed tasks and records what matters.

Support plans

The right amount of help, as life changes.

The familiar face behind Familiar Care

Local knowledge. Experience you can rely on.

Dean McNamara has spent years serving the community as a local business owner and district councillor. Through that work, he has seen a growing need among older people who do not require medical or personal care, but could use a trusted hand to keep life at home manageable.

Dean created Familiar Care to provide that local support. He can notice what needs attention, coordinate agreed help and arrange reliable local trades when required. When family live elsewhere, Dean can be the familiar point of contact nearby. He knows the person, understands the home and keeps the right people informed.
